What colors do you produce?

* Information on coat and color is posted on our home page, please refer there for any questions regarding coat and color. Anything posted we can make but please do check to see what we have planned as we don’t breed for color and each pairing will produce something a little different.

What health testing do you do?

OFA Hips, spine, patella, trachea, heart and elbows

Canine HealthCheck or Paw Print Genetics (Each test and lab used is posted under each dog in our program.) for DNA, disease and mutations.

VetGenn or PawPrints Genetics (CHC) for Cystinuria Type 3

What type of warranty do you give?

We will give a 2-year warranty on those who carry pet insurance for the full term. Warranty covers genetic illnesses and defects. More details in our contract, but you must carry insurance to keep warranty active. We provide one-month free insurance on puppies, so you have time to find the right company for you. This is for pet homes or for those who have an OTP ( Option to purchase full rights) contract. Please scroll down for more on those purchased with full rights.

Why is there a difference?

No matter how hard we try we can not test or account for everything. We do what we can with what we have to work with. After that it is all up to how the pairs genetically match up, the dog’s environment, upbringing and so much more. These are living creatures, we can not control everything, but we do try our best to give them their best chance.

For this reason, we have decided to extend our warranty to those who will carry insurance on their puppy, so in the event something was to go wrong, accidental or genetically, it is easier for all to handle and help and deal with the situation at hand.

We do require you to activate the first free month given with each puppy to activate your warranty.

What is your pet price?

Pet prices range from $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 depending on the pairing.

Early deposits also lock in their puppy price at the lowest price possible for that particular pairing regardless of coat and color once puppies arrive. Puppy prices are adjusted once babies arrive and we see what we have.

Pet homes do not get top two picks before puppies arrive. We may choose to move your pickup once babies have arrived but not guaranteed.

How much is your deposit/fees?

$500.00 before puppies arrive. Another $1,000.00 once puppies have arrived and personal updates have been sent.

Deposits/fees are non refundable but can be moved to another pairing of choice if needed.

Do you sell breeding rights?

We have decided to allow for a very select, like minded breeders to purchase or co own males/females with full rights for 2025/26. You MUST be willing to do a minimum of OFA hips, elbows, patella, heart and trachea. No exceptions unless discussed and agreed on.

All x rays and results must be shred with us at the very least.

As of January 2025 we will now be offering a $500 rebate once we have received results PASS or FAIL!

We hope to have a few males available for co own as well as one or two available for local, or willing to meet when needed in Red Deer Alberta, in 2025/26. I hope to add more about our guardian program here soon!

Why do you breed back-to-back with some girls and not others?

Each of our girls are assessed before and after each breeding. Some girls do better than others, some bounce right back, some need a little more time.

EVERYTHING is taken into consideration, scientifically and morally. This is new for us as we used to always rest our girls no mater what, however as time changes and we learn things with new science and study, we now know this is not always the best option for all girls.

So, as you may see some rested and others not for one but maybe for the next, this is why. We only want what is best for our girls and their health and will always make sure everyone is ready and never rushed!

Do you give a puppy Pack? If so, what should we expect to receive?

We do! Here is an example of what our puppy packages include.

Often there is more but this is my minimum and what you should expect to receive.

• Leash, Harness & Poop bags

• One Box/bag of food, bottle of water and travel dish.

• Two bags of treats

• A bottle of Adored Beast Love Bug Pre and Probiotics or FortiFlora ~ Synbiotic Action.

• Nail clippers & file

• NuVet Shampoo

• Norwex baby cloth

• Natural Dog Company, butters and balms

• Fish Oil

• One soft toy

• One hard toy

• Horn, antler or Bully stick

• Bed

• Blankets that smell like mom/home

·         If traveling, we will often add a crate or booster. Please make sure to ask if you do need one for travel and we will make sure puppy will get home safely!

• Folder/email with contract, what's safe and not safe to feed, free month of insurance, health and vaccinations records along with some information on the French Bulldog breed and their development.

We will add a few pee pads, however your puppy is trained to pee on both a grass mat and pee pad. The grass mat and hex pen are the only things not included in their puppy package.

Can we save some money and not take a puppy pack?

No, this is not an option. Everything we send home with your new puppy is something I believe is needed to get you and you puppy started on the right foot.

We send everything their little tummies are used to and products we trust and recommend. We only want the best start for you and our babies. Once they are settled in you can start to add new product and slowly start transitioning them to what suits you and your family best.

Do you ship?

We can normally take puppies anywhere within Canada. Flight, gas, and hotel costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If we are doing the travel, arrangements will need to be made according to our schedule and needs.

You can save on costs and fly here to the Calgary airport where we can meet with you before turning around and catching the next flight home with you and your new puppy!

We make sure puppies are well worn out for the trip and include everything needed to fly safely and smoothly! This is the preferred method, and we do encourage you to look at prices to fly in and out. We also have no problem holding puppies a little longer if need. Especially if it helps save money on flights!

What about US families?

Currently the CDC is not allowing any puppies under the age of 6 months old to enter the US from Canada. We are willing to work with anyone who understands the rules, costs, and time it may take to do so. If you would like to discuss more knowing this, please do feel free to reach out and discuss more.

We do have a beautiful co own and a few of our lines in the US now. So, if waiting isn’t an option let me know and hopefully, I can guide you in the right direction and find what you are looking for.

Q & A For Our Boys

What are your stud fees?

Stud fees vary from time to time so please contact us for more information on individual fees.

Why do they vary?

If a stud is not proven or hasn’t had their OFA’s done yet, they may be discounted until proven and or testing is completed. We might on occasion run a special here and there on one or all the boys as well. So be sure to check in!

Do you have frozen available?

We have a few limited boys available here in Alberta and hope to be adding a few more soon! We like to save and have access to some of the best boys later on down the road. We generally freeze for ourselves but sometimes have a few to spare.

Do I need to do a surgical if we use frozen semen?

No, you can do a Trans-cervical insemination (TCI) which is just as easy and safe as an AI. Not all vets do TCI’s so please make sure to discuss more with your vet before deciding if frozen will work for you.

You MUST do progesterone testing and be willing and able to keep on top of it throughout as timing is critical with frozen semen.

Will you accept a puppy back in leu of a stud fee?

We will consider pup back offers on select females only. Please send location, pictures, any health and or OFA’ s completed and as much information on your girl as possible when inquiring about a pup back offer.

If we are not initially interested in keeping a puppy off the pairing, we do have another option that could work on select females and breeding programs. So do not hesitate to ask more questions.

If I want to repeat or use a different boy in the future, do you offer a discount?

Absolutely!

We love to work into the future with those who we have worked with before. Let us know who you are thinking of and let us help make it work for you!

That said, we do have the right to refuse any future breeding for any reason.

Do you still need to approve the female, or can we use any of our girls?

We do still need to approve each female when using our boys. At the end of the day our boy will be associated with those babies born off his services, and we want nothing more than to be proud of each and everyone of their offspring!

If I lock in now is there a time limit to use?

We will hold all paid in full stud fees for 3 years with the understanding they might need to use frozen and or accept a different stud within our program if something should happen to the stud reserved. We have the right to freeze and rehome any dog at any time for any reason. But will make sure to update all who have credits with as much notice as possible. We try hard to fulfill all contracts before removing any dogs from our program but sometimes life has other plans, and we need to be able to adjust and work around these situations.

These are living animals and unfortunately don’t just sit pretty on the shelf till we are ready.

A 2-year hold is plenty on any fresh or side by side being held with a deposit only.

Frozen We will hold for 3 years from signed agreement date. Then it will be up to you to contact us to discuss if you need us to hold longer or if you would like to move your sample. (Only samples paid in full can be moved) If you do not contact us, you will lose your fee as well as your held sample. We do not have time to chase people and take care of our own. Everything expected of all parties is in our contracts. Please review regularly and make note on your calendar.

 

How many samples are sent?

Collection and shipping costs are the responsibility of the bitch owner. Therefor we will send as many samples as requested. Some will ask us to split a sample before shipping. This can be done but please do ask and make sure there aren’t any extra costs associated with this at time of shipping. We do not offer this for everyone.

If we have a Shipping included special. This will include one shipment and one sample.

 

Do you have a live pup guarantee? And if they pass before 8 weeks old do you repeat for free?

We have a 2 live pup guarantee with no added fees. If your girl only has two healthy babies and you would like to repeat. There will be a $500.00 fee added.  All our breeding’s are done by our vets and will include a semen analysis. So, everything is done professionally, and we know we are shipping healthy semen able to produce.

The female decides how many eggs she will drop. Timing and progesterone are critical. Our boys wont ship if they aren’t swimming strong so I don’t feel it is necessarily the male’s “fault” when they only have one or two babies. We are here to help, and we want everyone to succeed. So do always let us know how you feel and how we can adjust to make things work if needed. We are always up to discuss if and when needed.

 

If puppies are healthy at birth and end up passing before 8 weeks, we will require a necropsy to determine cause of death before we decide if a free repeat is indeed be justified.
